Unity Begins Within 24-Hour Online Campaign

We are kicking off our first ever Unity Begins Within Campaign at 2pm today! Join Better Family Life as we raise $100,000 over the next 24 hours to support our families with comprehensive services that address pressing social issues such as unemployment, crime, poverty, childcare and education, food deserts, cultural arts, and housing instability. Our Unity Begins Within Campaign is live now and ends on Wednesday, June 4 at 2pm.
For ONE FULL DAY we are asking you and our community of friends, partners, and neighbors to join the Unity Begins Within Campaign and give at a level that feels good to you. Each donation will QUADRUPLE our impact thanks to our Matching Gift Donors. For every $1 donated, we will receive $4 until we reach our $100,000 goal.

$59 provides one week of the Violence Intervention Program for 1 teen
$95 provides first time homeowner and financial literacy education
$156 covers 1 hour of Mental Health Counseling Hour for children and families
$250 provides Sankofa Rising to 3 low-income students to work in the Arts
$312 provides 8 children with Summer Camp STEM Activities for a week
$550 provides “My Journey in a Bag” essential items for 5 foster children
$750 provides St. Louis tornado victims with housing for a week
In the wake of the devastating tornado in St. Louis, many families have lost everything. Funds raised during this campaign will help us secure housing for those who lost their homes, providing stability and hope in this time of crisis.
In addition to tornado relief, you can choose to support specific Better Family Life programs that make a real difference in our community—programs focused on family support, youth development, cultural arts, and economic stability.
